The Tenant Association recently presented a petition to Capreit asking them (A) to open the saunas and (B) to restore 47 free visitor parking spots and implement a system to manage visitor parking.

Capreit has turned down both parts of the petition. We will therefore proceed with an application to the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) requesting a rent reduction.

We are creating an online discussion forum for people interested in joining the application. Whether you signed the petition or not, you are welcome to join the LTB application.

We are collecting contact information while we put the finishing touches on the forum. Once the forum is ready we will send you an invitation to the forum.

There you will be able to find out more about the process including steps and timing. Note, you must officially join the application. You are not automatically included just because you live in the building. You will be able to ask questions about the process and discuss it with members of the Tenant Association Executive Committee.
